On November 5th, 2025, Aluna Holistic celebrates five years — a milestone filled with gratitude, reflection, and quiet joy.
What began as a small dream in a cozy room inside a hair salon in Amsterdam has blossomed into a holistic skincare studio where beauty and well-being intertwine.When I opened Aluna in 2020, right after the first coronavirus lockdown, the world felt uncertain and fragile. Many believed it wasn’t the right time to start a business — yet from day one, I trusted this vision deeply: the power of care, presence, and human touch. Wrapped in masks and all necessary protections, I welcomed my first clients with open arms, creating a sanctuary for calm and connection in a restless time.
The Growth of a Holistic Skincare Studio in Amsterdam
As the months passed, Aluna slowly took shape — one step, one detail, one heartfelt treatment at a time.
Every corner of the studio reflected patience, intention, and love. I chose to grow organically, without rushing, letting each change unfold naturally.Through word of mouth and personal recommendations, Aluna’s community began to flourish — built on trust, authenticity, and a shared love for holistic skincare and natural beauty rituals.
A Turning Point and a Celebration of Life
In Aluna’s third year, life brought both grief and awakening. The passing of my French father became a reminder of how precious and fleeting life is.
That loss sparked a deep desire to live fully and celebrate — my life, the lives of those I love, and the life of this business.From that moment, I organized Aluna’s first client gathering to celebrate four years of care and community.
It was a night of laughter, connection, and warmth — and from it, the idea of self-care workshops was born.
Creating Space for Connection and Holistic Learning
Since then, Aluna has hosted several workshops — some in collaboration, others led by me — all centered around the same essence: self-care, awareness, and conscious beauty.
These gatherings have allowed clients to connect not just with their skin, but with themselves.Alongside my client workshops, I’ve also been honored to mentor other beauty professionals, guiding them to integrate holistic facial techniques and more mindful practices into their treatments. Supporting others on their path to conscious beauty has been one of the most fulfilling parts of this journey.
Transforming Space, Nurturing the Soul
Over time, Aluna’s studio has evolved gently — shaped by dreams, intention, and love.
Each little renovation, each corner, carries the same peaceful energy that fills the room during every facial, every ritual, every moment of stillness.This year, I’ve chosen to care for myself with the same devotion I offer when you visit Aluna.
It has been a soft yet powerful shift — a reminder that when I nurture myself, I also nurture my work, my clients, and the essence of Aluna.
